Strategic Advisor, Associate and Mentor

I have been an associate, Strategic Advisor and member of the Leadership team of P2P since 2020.

Previously, I was an Associate Associate for the College of Policing for several years, where I assessed at all levels from potential recruits to senior-level promotional assessment Centres.

I am a Civil Mediation Council registered mediator. I mediate highly complex civil, commercial, and workplace disputes. My workplace mediation skills are in high demand to mediate often confidential and sensitive issues in the workplace arising from investigations and grievance procedures. I am a highly skilled dispute resolution communicator, with the proven ability to constructively manage difficult and protected conversations. I have over a decade experience of in mediating complex in the public and private sectors.

My early career experience as a corporate strategist at St Thomas’s Hospital and function as a trade union equal opportunities officer enables me to bring a high degree of sensitivity and empathy to my work, together with a deep understanding of organisational dynamics and cultural change. My commercial pragmatism gained from vast experience in the financial /legal services sector in the City of London ensures I remain focused, innovative, flexible, and adhere to strict timelines.

My objective curiosity ensures I remain open-minded and able to approach issues from different perspectives.   My roles as both an independent mediator in private practice,  and as an independent strategic advisor to P2P ensure, that my advice to the CEO and Chief Operating Officer is “agenda-free “. Enabling sharing and learning from viewpoints, based on facts and real experience. I believe this empowers intellectual honesty, which sensitively challenges obstacles and preconceptions. This in turn supports, cultural change, innovation, new possibilities, and growth through real experiences, and shared and different perspectives.

I sit as a Magistrate in the Adult Criminal Courts, working collaboratively with colleagues, upholding the values of public service and equality of treatment  & service to all sectors of the Community.

I also sit on an expert(Lay) panel at The National Institute for Health and Care (NICE) GIVING Evidence-based recommendations for the health and social care sector, developed by independent committees, including professionals and lay members, and consulted on by stakeholders, practitioners, and commissioners.
