Jackie O’Leary

Over the course of my 30 years in senior business roles across various sectors, I’ve confirmed one essential principle as being fundamental to leadership success: Take your people with you – through meaningful strategy, clear communication, high standards and enabling potential. In living up to these ideals, you inspire your people and deliver results.

I’ve worked at the heart of large companies, across multiple geographies and also operated outside the central hierarchies as a consultant and adviser to senior leaders.

My background is primarily in customer experience and business transformation, through people leadership, strategic design and hands-on operational management. In all aspects of my career, I have tried to build strong teams by focusing on ‘leading oneself’ and ‘leading others’.

More recently, I decided to take my experience and core principles to a role as professional coach and mentor, helping leaders and aspiring leaders develop strategic thinking, communication and negotiation skills, business and people management, and effective leadership. I have a diverse and expanding client base.

I am an Affiliate Member of the Centre for Coaching and am currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Coaching, alongside other complementary activities.

I believe I offer a different perspective for Practice to Progress, through combining business experience with my passion for effective and comprehensive leadership, offering current and future leaders the chance to exploit their potential and opportunities that await.
