Jenny Hammond

I am a retired police officer and absolutely loved my job. I can honestly say in all my years of being on the street in uniform, I never once got out of bed thinking i don’t want to go to work. I thrive on helping others, paying it forward and going above and beyond with each and every task I complete. I still work within the police force as a civilian now.

 

I have been with P2P since March 2021 and have been committed as a workshop manager running sessions to help people who wish to join the police practice their assessments and develop their skills.

 

I find it very rewarding seeing them progress from the beginning of the sessions and developing their knowledge into the process. I am a retired police officer having spent my career with Surrey Police. I was a response officer out on the street along with being a family liaison officer for fatal road traffic collisions and I was also a police artist.

 

Throughout my career I met some amazing people and had the most interesting career. You never know where the job is going to take you. I continue to work for P2P and look forward to meeting new people along the way and helping them achieve their goals in whatever career they desire.
