Rachael Potter

Workshop Manager

Since leaving Surrey Police in 2017, having served as uniformed officer for 16 years, I have continued to work with Police and Government organisations here and abroad on a range of training. Whilst I was a serving officer I gained my training and assessing qualifications, teaching officer safety, public order, first aid and law. I spent a lot of time tutoring new officers when they arrived fresh from training school and spent my last year of service at Surrey Head Quarters training new officers as they arrived to start their police career.

Since leaving I have designed and delivered many personal safety training packages, along with train the trainer and training needs analysis courses both in the UK, Caribbean and Middle East.

I have been part of the P2P team as a workshop manager from almost the beginning. It’s great to be even just a small part of the candidates’ journey as they too start their police careers.
