I qualified as an Occupational Psychologist, built a career as an HR Director and am now a Consultant and Coach with a passion for helping people and Organisations grow through applying positive change.
For 20 years I held Senior Leadership positions, including 10 years at Board level as HR Director in 3 different Global Companies (All £bn plus turnover, with over 75k employees). During that time, I developed an understanding of motivation and performance that challenged the standard Corporate approaches. After leaving my corporate role, I qualified as an NLP Master Practitioner, Professional Chef and Creative Writer, before moving back into supporting individuals reach their own and their Organisation’s goals.
The breadth and depth of my experience has meant that as a Consultant I have been able to apply my skills in a wide variety of commercially and culturally focussed projects. Including Executive Coaching, Values and Culture change programmes, HR team efficiency and Organisational change planning, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion consulting. My clients have included, West Mercia Police Force, Compass Group, London Probation Service and Newport City Homes.
Over the past few years, I have specialised in aligning culture, behaviours, systems and processes to strategy. Doing so, I have mentored and coached HR and Business Leaders in identifying their own strengths, Organisational strengths and helped shape strategic direction. The combination of behavioural science and commercial understanding has proved extremely valuable to my clients.
My career has predominantly involved supporting the public sector, where I have been able to provide professional support to people providing services to communities. I believe passionately in creating equality of opportunity for all and in supporting P2Ps work and I feel I am able to contribute to enabling every individual to reach their full potential.
