I served as a Police officer with the Metropolitan Police for 34 years. I loved every minute of that time and had a very varied and interesting career. My service included time as a Uniformed Response officer, a Neighbourhoods officer, a Public Order trained officer and a Detective.
I served in several areas of London and enjoyed them for different reasons. The constant thread throughout this was my commitment to public service, the dedication of the officers I served with and the desire to make life better for those we interacted with.
I had the opportunity to be involved in some truly amazing moments, including the Notting Hill Carnival, Euro 1996, Olympics 2012, and many high-profile State visits and events. I can truly say that my career in the MPS gave me so many opportunities, and P2P now allows me to pass that on.
I have been working with P2P since December 2022 as a Workshop Manager, which has given me the opportunity to help the next generation of MPS officers.
I enjoy helping our candidates and seeing their confidence grow as they move through our workshops knowing I am helping them on the road to a fantastic career and on to a great adventure.
Away from work, I enjoy playing squash and going to the gym. I am also a bit of an amateur historian who enjoys travelling and experiencing new places and people.
