I have been a member of the P2P team for over three years, having finally retired from policing in February 2021. I completed over 32 years in policing and thoroughly enjoyed my career working across a number of organisations in a wide range of roles and ranks, uniform and detective based. I ended my career as the head of Specialist Operations which I absolutely loved. I have worked for a number of different police forces, and had local, regional and national portfolios which have all been equally rewarding and challenging at times.

During my service I met so many amazing people both within the Police and across the wider partnership and I am still proud to be part of police family. Working for P2P means I am still actively shaping the future of policing and I get great personal pleasure and satisfaction coaching and mentoring potential recruits, colleagues seeking promotion and being part of the fabulous multi dimensional P2P team, still making a difference together in all we do.

I am a qualified associate, coach and mentor and enjoy helping people on their journeys achieving their potential. Throughout my service I was actively involved in assessing and selection processed for staff and officers to many different roles and ranks and also for the college of policing.

In my spare time I enjoy walking, travelling and am a volunteer for my local Hospice, I also support a child in care as an independent volunteer which is incredibly rewarding.
